SAN JOSE — A husband-and-wife duo was arrested after police seized more than $2 million in cocaine — a total of more than 37 pounds, authorities said Tuesday.

The arrests followed a months-long investigation by San Jose police that discovered the couple ran a drug house where they manufactured, transported and sold cocaine base, also known as crack cocaine, officials said. Authorities said the suspects were a 51-year-old San Jose man and a 46-year-old San Jose woman.
